When Grand Sentiments overtake Good Sense,

There’s bound to be a trip and a scar.

But all life is a cycle, and

Each of us is often given a 2^nd chance to right our wrongs where we can.

Whatever the pain, whoever is been hurt,

It is Liberia who has been the real victim,

And no one group or person is the victor.

But it’s up to you, Liberians,

To turn your troubles into triumphs,

Marshall your mistakes into messages,

And give your youths a brand new song.

When it comes right down to the brass tacks, Liberians, it is

BACK TO YOU

to heal your land.

The ball is in your court;

And the rest of the world awaits your play!

How you handle the next few years,

How you treat one another,

How you handle yourselves,

and your natural resources,

will most definitively determine the lifespan of Liberia as a nation.

Are you going to reward evil for evil?

Do you realize that an eye for an eye

makes the whole world blind?

You can teach revenge to your kids,

or you can teach restoration.

That choice has come

BACK TO YOU

And, the sum of it all is this:

Everything that matters to your tomorrow,

is right in the palm of your hands,

it’s right in the throne of your heart,

It should be in your thoughts,

and it should be on your lips.

It is only Liberia that matters, people,

and it is indeed

BACK TO YOU!

Only you

Can protect, and provide for your next generations.
