Ceasefire Liberia member Armaa Johnson, who runs Good Look Picures, a film production company on Staten Island, produced a trailer called “Looka Us” that “captures the life of Liberian immigrants living on Staten Island, New York.” Armaa  joined us for our Ceasefire workshop yesterday, where he spoke about the difficulties of engaging young people online, especially young Liberians from rural areas who are accustomed to insular communities where communication is slow or non-existent. Armaa has soent the last year with his partner Antonio interviewing Liberian leaders in Park Hill, such as Jacob Massaquoi who runs African Refuge and Rose Kingston of Century Dance Complex.
