The University of Liberia (UL) has long been in the state of ruins owing to the 14 years of civil unrest. Now with these beautiful structures, there seems to be hope for higher education in Liberia. Big thanks to the governments of Liberia and China for making this happen. The  project, which is being sponsored by the Chinese government, started almost two years ago, and the campus should be turned over to the Liberian government by April 2010.
